INDIGO & PRIDE (A SHORT HERSTORY)
Indigo is inextricably with Bristol Pride. Dr Anna Rutherford & Amy from Indigo, set-up Bristol Pride, at the same time as forming Indigo. Many of the women & non-binary folk who came along to indigo, or who helped host in our early years, stepped up to become key figures in creating the first major pride event & festival in the city. Our thanks will always go out to Amy, Suzanne, Tash, Louise, Charlotte, Charlie, Lou, Rosie, Kimberley & the many women from indigo who stepped forward to help make Pride happen. It couldn’t have happened without them. #Herstory
