O Hooley & Tidow at Bristol Folk Festival

ABOUT

Indigo partner with Bristol Folk Festival for a special Opening Night Concert featuring O’Hooley & Tidow & first lady of folk Kate Rusby.

Famous for their iconic song Gentleman Jack, the theme tune to Sally Wainwright’s HBO/BBC acclaimed drama of the same name, O’Hooley & Tidow are a global hit.

“Defiant, robust, northern, poetical, political folk for music for the times we live in.” The Independent

The duo appear regularly on Radio 4 & their concerts sell out months in advance. Their boundless songwriting spans songs of an elephant orphanage in Nairobi, to a joyous celebration of Leeds cycling champion Beryl Burton. Inventive, moving, memorable & bags of fun, O’Hooley & Hidow are roundly admired, with Maxine Peake a huge fan.
